St. Petersburg, Florida – Beginning January 1, 2010, if you donate blood at a Florida Blood Services site you could get a free pass to Disney World for a day.
Florida Blood Services has announced it’s “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day” promotion.
The first 1 million people who volunteer at a Florida Blood Services donor center will get a single-day park voucher.
Donors must sign up on Disney’s site first at www.disneyparks.com beginning on January 1, 2010. Then search for Florida Blood Services and sign up to donate blood, platelets or give the “gift of time” at one of the donor centers.
There are Florida Blood Service sites throughout the Bay Area.
You must donate on the day you signed up for on Disney’s website.
The free passes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. However, there are a plethora of opportunities to donate blood during the weekends in January.
Florida Blood Services will be open on Friday to confirm the appointments.
For more information about the promotion, and for a list of approved locations, you can also visit www.fbsblood.org.
